This course introduces students to geometrical concepts and reasoning. Students will work with segment measure and coordinate graphing, angles, parallels, triangles and congruence, triangles and their properties, triangle inequalities, quadrilaterals and their properties, proportions and similarity, polygons and area, circles and their properties, surface area and volume, right triangles and trigonometry, circle relationships, proofs, and transformations. A scientific calculator is recommended.
