CTE Human Development: Prenatal-Toddler
This course helps the student understand and accept responsibility for one's own actions in relation to decisions about the choice of parenting as well as understanding the relationship between learning about children and being a nurturing parent. Students will become aware of the responsibility of being parents as they study the growth of the child from conception through tenth year of life. This class would benefit students going into careers such as pre-school/elementary education, nursing, teacher aides, and future parents. Student take home an infant stimulator to learn the skills involved in parenting.
