I am originally from the Rochester, MN area. I graduated from SDSU in 2001 with my B.S. in Sociology and a Minor in Women's Studies. I completed my M.S. in Counseling in 2005. After graduating, I worked at Volunteers of America-Dakotas for three years in the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility as a Residential Therapist. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor as well. This is my fifth year as a school counselor at Tea Area School District.
My family includes my husband, Ryan, who works at Daktronics and my three sons. Asher is in 3rd grade, Zander is in Kindergarten and Micah is 3 years old.
I enjoy camping with my family, reading, strength training, cooking, watching my boys play sports (wrestling, baseball, football) and I'm working on trying to like running.
